Meet our staff.

There are several wonderful folks who contribute to the blog from time to time, and we greatly appreciate everyone who supports the cause of second chances and God-sized dreams; however, the three amigos are: Steve, Lindsey, and Gigi.

Steve

Founder of MessyGrace.com. Mischievous. Skeptical. Dreamer. Hopeless Romantic. Forgiven.

Nickname: “Stinky”

Why God?

I’m not perfect. He is. He picked me. He PICKED me. HE PICKED ME! He could smash me to bits, but He chose me. He created me, I wandered away, and then He came running and bought me back. He makes no sense to me sometimes, and that’s okay with me.

Why love?

I need it. I give what I need. I give a lot of love because I need a lot of love. Everyone needs love. It’s not cliché’, it’s not mushy-gushy, puppy love, it’s radical love that transforms lives, shatters judgement, and frees prisoners.

Why God?

When I accepted that I was created by Him I began to have a desire to connect my life with His. I want my life to be purposeful and energized from the source of strength that only God can provide.

Why love?

I need love. If I love myself, flaws and all, I can begin to truly love others.

Gigi

Why God?

After I experienced His grace, it HAS to be God. I can’t do this world myself. Well, I CAN, and I’ve tried, but I just keep goofing it up. I still goof up sometimes, but I goof up less. And that’s good.

Why love?

God is love. And when that love is in your heart, you want other people to know about it. And that’s good.
